The State of East Africa (SEA) Movement is a visionary initiative aimed at fast-tracking the progress of the East Africa Community, inspired by the Alliance of the Etats du Sahel. The SEA seeks to unify Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Somalia, promoting socio-economic, financial, and political integration for a stronger, more cohesive East Africa.
By connecting the African Diaspora with local communities, the movement advocates for regional unity and collaboration. With plans for a dedicated TV station, the SEA will keep the region informed and connected, driving the vision of a prosperous, united East Africa on the global stage.
